What We're Looking For
Who we hire
We welcome both experienced cleaners and people new to the industry. Training is provided, but successful candidates need to meet these basic requirements:
Current police clearance
National Police Certificate (within 12 months) — required for working at client sites including medical centres and schools.
Valid driver's licence
You'll need to travel between sites — a current Australian driver's licence is essential.
Australian work rights
Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid working visa with rights to perform cleaning work.
Reliable & detail-oriented
You show up on time, take pride in your work, and notice the details that matter. Attitude beats experience here.
Physical fitness
Cleaning is active work involving lifting, bending, and being on your feet. Reasonable fitness is required.
Bonus skills: Experience with buffers, scrubbers, high-pressure washers, or window cleaning equipment is highly regarded.
Diversity & Inclusion
Everyone is welcome here
As a family-owned Western Australian business, Precimax Clean is committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity and provides equal opportunities for everyone.
We proudly support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities.
By joining our team, you'll work in a supportive environment where your unique skills and contributions are respected — and where reliability and a good attitude matter more than fitting any particular mould.

Common Questions
Frequently asked
How quickly will I hear back after applying?
We review every application within 5 business days. You'll receive a response either way — even if it's not the right fit, we'll let you know.
Do I need previous cleaning experience?
No. We welcome people new to the industry. Reliability, attention to detail, and a good attitude matter more than experience. We provide full training, including paired shifts with experienced team members.
What hours will I work?
It depends on the site. Many of our sites are after-hours (early morning or evening) so we can clean without disrupting our clients' operations. Some daytime work is available, especially in retail and medical settings. Tell us your availability in your application.
How do I get to the sites?
A valid driver's licence is required. Most cleaners drive their own vehicles between sites — we don't pay for fuel for your daily commute, but we do pay for any travel time between sites during a shift.
Do I need to provide my own equipment?
No. We provide all cleaning equipment, products, and your branded Precimax Clean uniform. You just need to bring yourself, comfortable closed-toe footwear, and the willingness to learn.
What happens if I don't have a police clearance yet?
You can still apply. If you're successful, we'll guide you through getting one. Police clearances are required before you can start work, especially at medical or school sites, but the process is straightforward.
Are there opportunities to grow within the company?
Yes. Many of our supervisors and team leaders started as cleaners. We promote from within wherever possible, and offer ongoing training to help you build your career — whether that's becoming an IICRC-trained specialist, moving into supervision, or transitioning to office roles.
